The final preparations for the new season are complete and we are so happy to be open again for our 4th season here at The Meadow Glamping! Over the winter we have been tweaking and improving what we offer, while keeping the magical experience that our fabulous guests love - follow us on Instagram or Facebook for the latest!

In addition to the glamping, we also have our 2 double annexe rooms available, there is also limited availability for renting the whole of Meadowbrook House, perfect for multi generational gatherings of families & friends (see 'Offers' 'below)

Welcome to The Meadow, nestled in a quiet corner of Broughton, Hampshire, The Meadow’s two acre setting is idyllic, peaceful and tucked away, yet still close to the convenience of this typical English country village.

Whether you prefer to take the rowing boat for a short lap around the lake, play tennis on the grass court, or sit quietly reading a book by the lake, your time at The Meadow is your own to relax and enjoy the stunning setting as you wish.

With our three units spread over 2 acres there is plenty of room to spread out and relax in your own private glamping area. Each unit has it's own bedroom, large outdoor area with seating, private toilet & shower, firepits and cooking facilities (including cover from the elements) and your own river side seating to watch the trout and ducklings cruise by on the Wallop Brook.

You may decide to cook amazingly tasty local buffalo burgers over the fire pit under the stars or you can opt to take a short stroll to the local pub for a meal or a tipple. Perhaps then finish your evening cosying up in front of the wood burner with a hot chocolate, or a large glass of wine - the choice is yours...

TMG had a visit from a travel journalist from The Guardian who stayed in our newest unit The Magic Rat! Read the review here

For a flavour of what a trip to TMG could look like for you, have a peek at recent footage from Our Hampshire, including some excellent drone footage, which nicely shows off our lovely glampsite!

Our first glamping unit, Wild Billy's is an original Showman’s Wagon built around 1890 and used for many years as an authentic travelling gypsy home. During Wild Billy’s fairground days the Wagon was used as the backstop for the coconut shy (you can still see the dents in the wood if you look closely!

He is now fully restored so you can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of sleeping in an original wagon - this cosy palace for two is uniquely inviting and a totally romantic experience!

You now have the chance to tap in to your free spirit and experience life like a Romany, at least for a few nights anyway! Enjoy cooking on an authentic tripod over an open fire while sheltering from the weather on our covered sofa with the river just feet away  - perfect!

But don’t worry, there are plenty of added home comforts to make your stay luxurious - Wild Billy has a newly fitted wood burner, a super comfy memory foam mattress and toasty warm double duck duvet with fur throw.

Imagine snuggling up in bed in the morning with a cuppa listening to the woodpecker chipping away, or peeking out into your stunning surroundings to see if you can spot our resident Kingfisher flying over the lake, or catch a glimpse of a roe deer slowly walking past on The Meadow....

Wild Billy’s is the perfect place to totally relax!

Mary's Place is a gorgeous and completely unique glamping experience, among perfect surroundings!
Being only one of only three glamping units in The Meadow’s private setting of two acres, Mary's Place is perfectly secluded and has plenty of space to help you spread out and relax.
Your bedroom is a sumptuous retreat of colour and indulgence, with a front wall of folding glass doors, deep pile carpet, super comfy bed and twinkling fairy lights to perfectly complete the romantic setting in this boutique bohemian space.
Draw back the curtain in the morning and step outside to find the most wonderful private setting, with the babbling Wallop Brook to one side and the sparkling expanse of a lake directly in front of you, complete with the resident moorhens and our friendly pet ducks, sometimes with ducklings in tow!
Overlooking the lake there is a beautifully original summer house where the luxurious theme continues! Decked in warm, vibrant colours inside and out and situated on decking stretching over the lake, this area is exclusively yours to use as you wish - relax on the bench while reading a book by the tranquillity of the lake, enjoy a meal on the deck, or sip a cup of tea sheltering from the elements inside.

During your stay you may decide to cook amazingly tasty local buffalo burgers over the fire pit under the stars or you can opt to take a short stroll to the local pub for a meal or a tipple. Our third and final unit is the super cool Magic Rat. An original 23ft Springer Narrow Boat fresh from its previous life on the Kennet and Avon Canal, now moored by it's own private island, happily nestled among the willows

The Rat has been lovingly restored using a recycled industrial theme, creating a very unique, quirky and fun interior which also boasts plenty of luxurious comfort with a super cosy 15 tog duvet, spring coil mattress, fluffy pillows a fur throw and it's own wine cellar hidden below the water line! There is a small deck at the front of the boat for sitting out with your morning coffee admiring the pots of flowers, willow trees and wild birds around you.

The 45 by 36ft Island is reached by a rustic wooden bridge and is your exclusive outdoor space. Our recently restored arbour 'Mel's Shelter'  has a table and seating to protect you from the elements while you eat, but allows you to still enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view of the lake, here you will be surrounded by a vibrant mix of colourful meadow flowers. Enjoy relaxing on the tree stumps by the river, then  as the light fades the solar fairy lights kick in creating a totally magical atmosphere, the perfect time to light the beautiful old fireplace and spend the evening on your outdoor comfy leather couch warming your toes and sipping your wine. At the end of the evening you can cross the jetty onto The Magic Rat and retire to the comfort of the stunningly comfortable bed inside and cosy up for the night!

Our resident ducks have a little hut on the island too so you can watch them coming and going, they are super friendly and entertaining!!
